Arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, commonly known as Zanzibar Airport, where our representative will welcome you and escort you to your Stone Town hotel for your leisure and overnight.
Lodging: Mizingani Seafront Hotel ā Deluxe Suite (BB)
After breakfast, you will have a short boat ride away from Stone Town to Prison Island that offers excellent snorkeling, a nature trail, small beach and the unusual attraction of a sanctuary for giant turtles. You will spend half a day exploring prison island before riding back to Stone Town for lunch. There is an option of having lunch in a Prison Island restaurant.
Stone Town tour intends to take you through fabled town rich in history including House of Wonders, the former East African Slave market, Arab fort, Sultan Palace, darajani spice market amongst others. The architectural style of Stone Town building is a unique mixture of various influences and cultures. As you walk through the labyrinth of streets and narrow alleyways, you can see mosques, churches and temples side to side.

In the morning you will travel into the countryside for about 30 minutes before reaching the spice plantation. During the walking tour in the plantation, youāll have the opportunity to touch, smell, and taste several spices and fruits including cloves, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamon, lemon grass, kurkuma and many other kinds and fruits.
After the spice tour, you will have an opportunity to make traditional Zanzibarian food of your choice for lunch like Zanzibar pizza, urojo, maandazi with coconut, pilau rice, biryani rice, mis kaki (chicken or beef skewers) etc. Zanzibar food is a mixture of various culinary traditions including Bantu, Arabian, Indian, and British & Portuguese

In the morning, you will depart to the southwest tip of the island (Fumba Village) for your full day excursion.Ā The excursion includes exploring the Menai Bay Conservation area in a traditional wooden dhow, enjoy swimming & guided snorkeling in the beautiful clear waters, watch dolphins at play, swim in the hidden mangrove lagoon and Feast on delicious Swahili seafood barbecue followed by our gastronomic tropical fruit tasting.
Later in the evening return to Stone Town for leisure. Forodhani gardens can be an interesting place to hang out. Forodhani gardens are very lively starting from 7pm when the local vendors are selling seafood and other cuisines and people from different worlds come for dinner.

As you drive to the beach, you will visit Jozani forest for a short walk while watching the red colobus monkeys as the highlight of this park. Within it are fascinating trees such as mangrove, spices and diverse species including the blue monkeys, bush pigs, chameleons, and Adders dikers.
Later you continue to your beach resort located northeast of the Island for the next 4 nights of beach holiday.

Before leaving the paradise island of Zanzibar, enjoy an early morning at the beach or just relax by the pool. Enjoy a lush breakfast/lunch at the hotel, before our representative drives you back to Zanzibar International Airport to return home.

Zanzibar is one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever been. I loved the care given but Renai to make sure we had the time of our lives.
