Day 7: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas
After breakfast, descend more than 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. Supported by a year-round water supply, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, wildebeest, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, zebras, and elephants.
During the drive, you will also visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwestern corner, home to flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
